Well Done Elbar Bronze Echo!
31st May 2008

The new colt, Elbar Bronze Echo has been doing extremely well.
At the local shows he has won many classes in led and colour and
against all breeds of horses, both large and small. In April 2008
at Kempsey Show he got supreme horse of the show... against
all the big horses! This is the first time a miniature horse has
won a Supreme at a Kempsey Show!!
Elbar Bronze Echo went on to the IMHR
Nationals at Tamworth in May 2008. For his age he did very well.
In his Weanling Classics he got first out of about 28 fillies
and colts. And in the Futurity he got first also. They were very
big classes and he was little more than 7 months old at the
time. A great achievement!

Small horses in champion
packages...
Jenny Barbat and Jan Fraser, both of Nambucca Heads,
can't stop smiling since their miniature horses capped off a great season at the North Coast Western Performance All Breeds Miniature Horse Show at Kempsey last November.
Both women compete in agricultural shows and specialty miniature horse shows, travelling up and down the NSW north coast with their horses.
And this year the pair has brought home a swag of ribbons and trophies between them.
Jenny, of Elbar Stud, with her two miniature fillies; three-year-old Elbar Miss Attitude and two-year-old Jindalee Silver Moon, received many placings this year including reserve champions, champions and supreme champion.
She has been showing and breeding miniature horses for many years and introduced Jan to the joy of miniature horses.
Jan and her two-year-old gelding Comba Silver Strike (or Bear) has also achieved some great results, including champion and supreme champion.
Jenny Barbat received a special surprise on return from a recent show, arriving home to find a third generation filly born, measuring a tiny 18 inches tall.
Jenny has high hopes for her new tiny arrival as she owns the grandmother and mother... both did well in the show ring.
Jenny and Jan have had a break over Christmas and are now preparing for the Miniature Horse Association of Australia NSW State Championships later this year.
